Custom Order FAQ
How does the custom order process work?
Our custom order form is a simple 2-step process designed to make ordering your personalized baby loss keepsake as easy as possible:
Step 1: You'll provide your contact information and select your gestational size(s), colour preferences, and colour layout style.
Step 2: Choose optional additional items (butterflies, teddy bears, flowers, etc.), select your background colour, and add any personalization text.
Once you complete the form, your £20 custom order will be added to your cart. After checkout, we'll receive your order with all your custom details and respond to you shortly to confirm and discuss your keepsake.
Can I order for twins?
Yes! Our form allows you to select the same gestational size twice if you have twins of the same gestational age. Simply click on the same size card twice and you'll see a double checkmark (✓✓) indicating you've selected it for twins.
How many gestational sizes can I select?
You can select up to 2 gestational sizes. This can be two different sizes or the same size twice for twins.
What gestational sizes are available?
We offer the following gestational size options:
- 0-3 Weeks
- 4-5 Weeks
- 6-7 Weeks
- 8-11 Weeks
- 12-41 Weeks
What colours can I choose?
We offer 10 beautiful colour options:
- Cotton Candy
- Flamingo
- Blue Moon
- Arctic
- Caribic
- Lavender
- Peppermint
- Vanilla
- Eggnog
- Clear (transparent option)
You can select multiple colours! These colours are situated behind the fetus to represent gender, a neutral colour, or a favourite colour.
What is Colour Layout?
Colour Layout determines how your selected colours are arranged in the heart. You can choose between:
- Swirls Pattern: Your colours are blended together in a beautiful swirled, marbled effect
- Solid: Your colours are arranged in distinct solid sections (e.g., half pink, half blue)
You must select one layout option to complete your order.
What additional items can I add?
You can choose up to 2 additional items from:
- Butterflies
- Ladybugs
- Teddy Bears
- Roses
- Lilies
- Flowers
You can select the same item twice if you'd like 2 of the same (for example, 2 butterflies). Just click the same card twice!
What's the difference between White and Clear background?
White background: Helps your chosen colours and text stand out clearly.
Clear background: Best if you want a completely transparent heart.
Can I add personalization?
Yes! You can add special text such as names, dates, or meaningful messages. We also have a section for additional notes where you can specify colour combinations or any special requirements for your order.
How much does a custom order cost?
Custom orders are £20. This covers your personalized resin heart with all your selected customizations including gestational size, colours, colour layout, background, and personalization.
What happens after I submit my order?
After you complete the form, the £20 Custom Order product will be added to your cart. You'll proceed to checkout to complete your purchase. Once we receive your order, we'll review all your custom selections and respond to your email shortly to confirm your order and provide an estimated timeline.
How long does it take to create a custom order?
Creation times vary depending on the complexity of your order and our current workload. We'll provide you with an estimated timeline when we respond to your order request.
Can I make changes after submitting?
Yes! If you need to make changes to your order before we begin production, simply reply to our confirmation email or contact us directly at inspiredbyriley@hotmail.com with your order number and requested changes.
Do I need to complete the form in one session?
Yes, please complete both Step 1 and Step 2 in the same session. Your selections from Step 1 are temporarily saved in your browser and carried over to Step 2, but they won't be permanently saved until you complete checkout.
What if I have more than 2 babies to remember?
If you need to order for more than 2 babies, please complete one order first, then start a new order for additional babies. Alternatively, you can email us directly at inspiredbyriley@hotmail.com and we'll work with you to provide the best options for your needs.
